We are always collecting for the Food Pantry and will accept non-pershiable foods! Any little bit can make a huge difference!


Help us help others!
The food pantry ministry is one of the vital ministries of our church. We are in desperate need of monetary donations to keep the food pantry open. We have seen a large increase in numbers of families needing this service. For instance, just last month our food pantry distributed food to 1,182 people. With the cuts to the federal food stamp program and unemployment extentions, the need is only expected to increase. Please help us serve the needs of needy people in our community. Tax deductable donations can be made to the food pantry. Checks can be made out to Park Avenue Community Church and designated to the food pantry. Thank you for your support! The food pantry is open on Tuesdays from 11 AM to 12:30 PM and on Thurdays from 2 PM to 3:30 PM. We are an agency of the Food Bank of South Jersey.


Thank You Somerdale!
We would like to express our gratitude for the support of our food pantry by the Borough of Somerdale. The Borough has sponsered a food drive in conection with Martin Luther King Community Service Day. Drop off site are marked by food containers distributed throughout the town. Thank you for your support to our community!
